I wasn’t born into this industry. I was born into a story.

My father was from Argentina, my mother from Ecuador. They met in post-war Japan—two people from opposite sides of the world brought together by fate—and eventually married in Miami, where I was born.

I grew up in public schools, hit a few bumps along the way, and found my way through athletics. Football gave me direction, and eventually a full ride to play Division 1. I earned my degree, became a teacher and coach, and discovered my love for helping others grow—on and off the field.

At the turn of the century, I transitioned into finance with A.G. Edwards, a highly respected Midwest firm. There, I spent years guiding people through life’s big financial questions—investments, planning, protection—with a coach’s mindset and a teacher’s heart.

In 2014, I founded Apollo Insurance Group LLC, originally to help people get affordable healthcare. But it grew fast. Soon, we were working hand-in-hand with investors, especially in commercial insurance for multifamily properties. That opened a deeper door: understanding the vital role life insurance plays in protecting investor partnerships, key individuals, and families should tragedy strike.

Now, as consumer expectations evolve and AI makes self-service easier than ever, I knew the model had to change.
